Welcome to Rhyl Sub-Aqua Club

Rhyl Sub-Aqua Club was formed in 1975 and has approximately 35 members of varying ages and qualification levels; this makes it one of largest and most well established diving clubs in North Wales.  The Club is also fortunate to have a weekly pool session that is exclusive to its members. This is perfect for training purposes, testing equipment if you haven't been in the water for a while or just for a swim and a chat.

The club normally meets at 8.00 pm on Wednesday evenings at Rhyl Leisure Centre (but see Club News page for latest info).

BSAC training is very highly regarded throughout the world and we take great pride in the quality of our training. We encourage all our members to keep on learning within the branch after they have completed their first training qualification.
BSAC membership also gives you access to a range of BSAC skill development courses, both to improve your diving and develop any special interests you may have.

Rhyl Sub-Aqua Club welcomes trained divers from all diving agencies and also people that are new to the sport.  We have fully qualified volunteer instructors and experienced divers who will guide you through the training necessary to fully partake in the club's open sea and freshwater diving activities.

The club dives all over North Wales throughout the year and carries out numerous activities from underwater photography to wreck exploration.

Diving activities usually take place on Sundays but during the summer months dives are also arranged for evenings and Saturdays.

Regular diving trips abroad are organised (see Photo Gallery) where club members can sample the delights of warm, clear water diving. The club has its own rigid inflatable boat (RIB) which is regularly used on local wreck dives.
